The owner of a travel agency and his wife were shot dead before their child in Vivekanandanagar nearu00a0 Banaswadi railway station on Sunday night.

Police said three men known to the couple, Javed Parvez (32) and Hajira (28), visited the house and had a heated argument with Javed over finances. Theyu00a0 snatched his revolver and fired at him and his wife. The couple died on the spot.

Neighbours rushed to the house when they heard the child crying and found Javed and Hajira in a pool of blood in the hall.

A witness said he saw three men coming out of the house. When neighbours asked them what was happening, they said it was a personal problem and that they shouldn't interfere.

They escaped in a car but neighbours managed to note down the number and handed it over to the police.
The airport police have arrested two persons including a woman at the airport who escaped soon after shooting down Javed and Hajira.

The police said the two menu00a0 were trying to fly out of the city.u00a0

However, the prime accused Hanif Sait, a second-hand car dealer managed to escape. Preliminary investigations revealed that the three men had differences over finance as Javed was running a chit fund where they were members.u00a0 Investigations are on to track Hanif Sait, the police said.
