Cong leader Somanna's supporters join BJP
Supporters of Congress leader V Somanna joined the Bharatiya Janata Party here today.
u00a0u00a0u00a0 Supporters of V Somanna alleged that Somannau00a0was totally sidelined and no concern was shown for their mentor's political sway in Bangalore and neighbouring districts. If there is any party, which does not encourage the capabilities of its workers, it is only Congress, sources close to Somanna said.
u00a0 V Somanna, MLA from the Govindaraj Nagar constituency, who had been hobnobbing with the BJP leaders of late, is expected to join the party after the Ugadi festival.
u00a0u00a0u00a0 Ravindra, Keshavamurthy, Shivappa, Adi Nararayana,u00a0among others were welcomed into the party by BJP ministers R Ashok, Katta Subramanya Naidu and Shobha Karandlaje at the party office in the city.
