Delhi girl at IIM-A gets flu
A Delhi student of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad was tested positive for swine flu.
However, even before the authorities could reach her, she rushed back home. The girl used to live with 12 others at a dormitory at the Institute.
The girl's father is a doctor at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, the nodal centre for flu treatment in the national capital.
The first year management student was admitted to a local Ahmedabad hospital on August 13 with high fever. She tested positive for swine flu.
Sources said that her colleagues at the dorm have been asked to stay isolated.
The Gujarat health authorities have informed their Delhi counterparts about the girl.
