Celebrate the weekend with some powerful progressive and trance music. Canada-based DJ Adam K is in the city and has been performing live for over 15 years. He has his fingers in various pies including sound design, audio engineering and producing sets.

At Stone Water Grill, he will be debuting a couple of his new singles. "It's always exciting to play new tracks to live crowds for the first time," says Adam. Known to be a multi-tasker, he is into production, promotion, DJing and radio. He admits that writing and performing music are his sole passions in life. "If I am not in the studio on my off time, I'm not a happy guy," says the DJ.

Currently, he is working on several projects including his brand new single with Kaskade on Ultra Records called 'Raining', which has soft, commercial tunes. "It's one of those radio-friendly tracks that still has some edge to it. I am also working on two new solo tracks -- Wake Up (which has more traditional sound and features vocals from a girl named Naan) and a tougher, techie bumper called Hits Are For Kids. Both of those will be coming on my label Hotbox Digital. I'm also working on a track with Funkagenda called 'Drift'. We threw a short sample on YouTube and people went nuts, so I think it will be awesome," he adds.

Apart from playing music, he loves to be at his cottage in Northern Ontario, Canada where he relaxes by the lake and hangs out by the water.

Ask him about the wildest crowd he has ever met and Adam has a long list. "There have been some amazing crowds around the world, be it in Rio, Ibiza or Tokyo, but in my home country of Canada there's a great city called Saskatoon and the crowd there go absolutely bananas," he says. But now the musician is hoping that one of the cities on his India tour will win the best crowd challenge.

The event will have visuals by Undefined Dimension. The project is a collective of versatile new media professionals / artists who create an experience that cannot be classified by genres. With the help of visual installations, live electronics and experiments with the live electro-acoustic set-up, they create genre-defying styles of music.
