Sanskruti
Located off the Pune-Solapur highway, it surely is a beautiful ride to the cultural village and once you reach the destination you are "amidst picturesque landscape with a background of beautiful mountains and surrounded by the scenic beauty of nature."
Sanskruti is organising a dandiya night wherein an in-house band will perform and play live Bollywood and dandiya music for the crowd. The event will also have other events like mehendi application, tattoo-making, nail-art, pottery, magic show, palmistry and a ghazal performance.
The food served will be purely vegetarian consisting of Rajasthani, Gujarati and Punjabi cuisines. The starters include patti samosa, patra while main course consists of undhiya, paneer amritsari, aloo vatana tomato and finally jalebi and mohan thal for dessert.
Adinath Society
This society is like home away from home where all Gujaratis and Rajasthanis come together to celebrate the nine nights of Navratri. Located at Satara Road, it is a society that was built by Punamchand Nanavati.
Rajesh Bobra, a member of the society said: "We celebrate all the nine nights together every year. It gives us a chance to come and celebrate our culture and traditions together with our family and friends."
The evening starts off with Garba performances where in each and every member of the society dances to the tunes of authentic Gujarati music. It is then followed by an aarti for Goddess Amba.
After the aarti, the members then sit together and play games with their children like antakshari, housie and
musical chair.
