The festive season is the perfect time to splurge on creative jewellery. So, open your purse strings and head to Rang Rasa, organised by Diviya Aggarwal's brand Divikriaa. It will showcase baubles designed by Delhi-based designer Alpana Gujral.

"Alpana's jewellery is very unique, ornate and royal. It's eye-catching and can be termed creative jewellery," says Diviya. Gujral's traditional style is Meenakari and involves enamelling. Using a combination of gems, enamel pigments and precious metals, Gujral brings to life the Mughal vision of "paradise on earth". Her works feature Meenakari motifs consisting of flowers, plants, scrolling vines and animal forms.

"Alpana has successfully morphed this traditional art to suit the modern woman," observes Diviya, who is positive that the response from the city will be great.

ON October 23 and 24, 11 am to 8 pm
