With gold prices soaring sky high, silver seems to be best for now. And that's why jewellery store Aria on FC Road is cashing in. Reasonable yet stylish is the perfect way to describe what the store offers. Owner Rishikesh Aytaka personally flies to Italy and picks out elegant designs, which are then imported to the city.
Range: They offer a range of ethnic as well as contemporary jewellery. Check out their earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants, armlets, anklets as well as crystal ware. They are good even for daily wear and do not dig a hole in your pocket, as the products are priced Rs 100 onwards.
We liked: A pendant set (Rs 1,500) was chic and trendy. The necklace was sleek, shimmering and ideal for traditional as well as western attire.
An oxidized silver earring highlighted with black beads (Rs 550) was also attractive. It had stones studded along the length and was accentuated with black beads. There was one chandelier earring (Rs 2,500) with an antique finish.
The oxidised silver and turquoise piece seemed to be straight out of some Begum's jewellery box. Also, check out the earring studded with green stones (Rs 800), which boasts of minute detailing.
