The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has been declared the Goa Board class 10th results 2016 today, 25th May at 3 PM. After declaration, students can check their GBSHSE 10th Result on official Goa Board results portals goaresults.nic.in and gbshse.gov.in.

As per the latest notification of GBSHSE, the Goa Board 10th Result 2016 has been declared today, 25th May 2016 at 3 PM. The news has spread a joyful cheer among the students, who have been waiting for the Goa Board Results 2016 for Class 10th Board exam since past two months. Soon after official declaration, the Goa SSC Result will be made available online on result websites goa10.jagranjosh.com, goaresults.nic.in and gbshse.gov.in.

As per the notification uploaded on the official website of the Goa Board, the Goa SSC Result for class 10 students will be declared at 3PM from Porvorim office of the Board. Reports also suggest that GBSHSE chairman Shri. J. R. Rebello will grace the declaration ceremony and unveil the Goa 10th Class Result 2016 to the public. After the formal announcement, students can head over to goa10.jagranjosh.com to check their results online.

As per the official notification of Goa Board, the GBSHSE will issue the original passing certificate and statement of Grade/Marks on 27th May at 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM. Until then, Students are suggested to keep either a softcopy or printout of the Goa 10th Result 2016 for reference purposes.
Exam Schedule and Student Participation:
The Goa Board Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam was held from 1st April to 22nd April 2016. A total of 20,806 had appeared for the Goa SSC Examination, which was conducted at 26 designated examination centres across the state. Of the total number of examinees, 10,387 were girls and 10,419 were boys. All the candidates have been waiting for the Goa 10th SSC Result 2016 with bated breath since the last day of exam.
A brief look at last year’s Goa 10th Result:
Last year, the Goa Board SSC Results was declared on 23rd May 2015. The result was declared for a total number of 19582 students. The overall pass percentage was 85.15% and girls had performed better than boys. While Mapusa was recorded to be the best performing exam centre with a pass percentage of 90.83%, Sankhali was the worst performing centre (72.60% pass).
