Climbing corporate walls can't get any easier. Given, of course, you have the right edge, oops, curves. For all the pretty lasses out there who thought they've lost out on the chance to make it big as a model, here's a New Year gift, already. Ibibo, a blogging-cum-social networking portal, is auditioning for its swimsuit calendar 2010, and entry's open to all. Get grooming as we tell you how you can network your way through the contest.

The format is simple and straight. If you're an adult, log on, post your casually or professionally shot pictures, and wait for the result. Participants will be judged by six fashion photographers Anirban Brahma, Danish Hussain, Jatin Singh, Kaustav Saikia, Keeny Newton and Raj Chaturvedi. The final 12 will be groomed for the shoot, the venue and theme of which is still undecided. Each shutterbug will take on two shortlisted ones. However, the entrant who earns maximum votes from the Ibibo community will also have her portfolio shot by one of the six on the panel. And no, looks aren't all. And interview, too, awaits selected candidates.

Since the competition is entirely an online affair, it's open for everyone, irrespective of their geographical whereabouts. "We have received entries from Kapurthala, Kota, Siliguri and other non-metro cities. That's the beauty of the Internet. We don't even have an upper age limit. So, if you're 30, but look a decade younger, we wouldn't stop you," assures Vivek Bahl, associate vice president, Ibibo.

The contest aims at opening up new avenues for young aspirants through social media and Web 2.0. "I like the concept because you can do 10 other things while the competition is on," says Priya Bhattacharya, a contestant. "It's fun," agrees Jublee, a co-aspirant. The calendar, scheduled to go under production later this year, will be circulated to major corporate firms and sold as a limited edition luxury.u00a0
