Bangalore Habba 2009 begins, promises a mix of classical and modern cultural goodies from music and dance to theatre and photography

The controversy-ridden Bangalore Habba finally took off yesterday and will go on till February 23 with over 50 performances in different parts of the city.
This time, the Habba will have more than 50 performances in venues across the city including Palace Grounds, Cubbon Park, Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Seva Sadan and even BBMP Parks. All events are free and open to public.
This year, AFFA has teamed up with Bangalore Photography Club (BPC) to present an exhibition of photographs depicting Bangalore's markets. The exhibition 'Bengaluru Mandi Hidden Hues of Bangalore Markets' is being held at Goethe-Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan from 9 am to 6.30 pm.
A coffee table book on Bangalore Mandis will also be launched on Monday.
