Jackson's jammin' your mail

If you think you've shed enough tears on the sudden demise of pop legend Michael Jackson, think again. After the news of his death, the entertainer has become muse of spammers across the world.

In its latest report, Internet and IT security firm, Websense Security Labs, has discovered spam emails offering recipients links to unpublished videos and pictures of Jackson.

The report says, "The spam email appears to offer a link to a YouTube video, but instead sends the recipient to a Trojan Downloader hosted on a compromised website."

These Trojans enable hackers remotely access a computer system and perform desired operations like file deletion, modification, upload and download. Other unwanted harmful software can be installed as well.
