Staying true to their promise, the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka has been announced Karnataka Board PUC Result 2016 today, 25th May 2016 at 11 AM. As per the latest notification of Karnataka Pre-University Board will be declaring the results on Wednesday from their head office in Bengaluru. State education minister is also expected to be present for the announcement function of KSEEB 12th Result 2016, after which it will be made available online on the official website of the Karnataka Board karresults.nic.in and kseeb.kar.nic.in.

The Karnataka Pre-University Certificate Examination 2016 for class 12 students began on 11th March, 2016 with Biology / Electronics paper and concluded on 28th March with a language paper. Since the successful completion of Board exams, students have been patiently waiting for the PUC Results of Karnataka Board.
Steps to check Karnataka 12th Result 2016
Once the results are declared, it will be live on the official website of Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) www.karresults.nic.in. Candidates, awaiting their result, need to keep their admit card number/ examination roll number and date of birth details in hand, to see the result at once.

Last year’s Karnataka 2nd PUC Result
Previous year the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2015 was declared on 18 May 2015. A total of 6.1 lakh candidates received their result in time, out of which 3,69,474 candidates had qualified it. With a pass percentage of 60.54, the result had an increased slope in the performance graph of examinees in comparison to previous year. Girls had outperformed boys in the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2015. The overall pass percentage of girls was 68.24, which was much higher in comparison to that of boys (53.09%). As per the existing records of previous year, 100 percent performance was achieved by 55 colleges and a total about 47 colleges showed a performance of zero percentage in Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2015. While a total of 10.38 percent of the total number of examinees achieved distinction, 51.87% got first class, 21.23% score second class and rest 16.52% were given third class.

After the declaration of Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2016 the board will start its preparation for conducting the supplementary examination (for those candidates who haven’t qualified the PUC Examination held in March), in the month of June. This will help those candidates to enroll for higher education in the same academic year, without wasting another year for clearing the exam.
