Saturday was a damp squib for many parents in the Capital who were hoping to get their kids admitted to some of the best schools in the city as the nursery admissions process began.
Though there weren't many long queues, unavailability of admission forms led to confusion and chaos. Now schools say that Monday will be a different story.u00a0
As compared to previous years, parents have just a couple of 15 days, with a Sunday in between to first figure out and then complete the formalities.
This has added to the fears of lack of clarity on admission criteria at every school. "I have no idea what is happening. On Saturday I was running since morning from St Thomas to Springdales to collect forms.
But at the end of the day I was told that forms were available online. What is this? I am really disappointed. I hope things get better on Monday," said Swati Sinha, who is a manager in a consultancy firm and mother to a four-year-old.
Springdales, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar and R K Puram, St George, were some of the institutions in the city that fell short of forms.
