Lara's call falls flat
The shutterbugs stay quiet on the sides of the stage as a phone company launches itself in Mumbai.

"LARA, LEFT!" screams one flash-making shutterbug, "LARA, RIGHT!" hollers another, "LARA, STRAIGHT!" goes another. The actress smiles an almost benign smile and complies.
She's here to make the first call in the city through the company, who will she call? Hmm? She calls the CEO, who is standing right there on stage. He makes a crack about how the connection is clear. Ho hum, we say, ho hum.
