Two days after a leopard mauled a girl to death, a big cat in Mumbai has been captured
Forest department officials have caught a leopard at Maroshipada near Aarey Milk Colony on Monday evening.

Interestingly, the location the big cat was trapped was the same one from where another leopard, which is suspected to have killed a 50-year-old woman, and captured.
Speaking to MiD DAY, Anil Todarmal of the Thane Forest Department, said, “The villagers staying in the area had complained us in the past that the leopard was killing their goats and its sighting was taking place every second day because of which there were chances that it might attack a human”.
This is the 2nd time that a leopard, which had attacked and killed a 50-year-old woman staying in the Maroshipada area in Aarey Colony.
