Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has called upon young scribes to follow ideals of brave and impartial journalism laid down by heroes in Indian Independence including Mahatma Gandhi, Makhanlal Chaturvedi and Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi.


"Journalism is meaningful only when it gives proper guidance to the society. Young journalists should follow ideals of brave and impartial journalism laid down by heroes of Indian Independence including Mahatma Gandhi, Makhanlal Chaturvedi and Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi," Yadav said.


The Governor was addressing 20th foundation day function of Hindi daily Rashtriya Hindi Mail recently, an official of Public Relation Department said today. Yadav said that journalism is meaningful only when it gives proper guidance to society. It should not be dominated by any particular ideology. These days, society specially youths are very much impressed by electronic media. He also felicitated about 28 senior as well as young journalists for their inspiring contribution in the field of journalism on the occasion.


The state's PHE Minister Kusum Mahdele, Rajya Sabha MP Choudhary Munawwar Saleem, former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri, former MP Kailash Sarang, senior journalists Mahesh Shrivastava and Vijaydutt Shridhar among others were present on the occasion.
