20-year-old arrested for violence over petty quarrel

The Cantonment police yesterday arrested a 20-year-old man Shailesh alias Bablu Hanumant Dhone for allegedly stabbing his cousin Nilesh Sahu Dhone (27) at their residence in New Modikhana, Cantonment on Tuesday night at 10.20 pm.u00a0
Bablu had given his mobile phone to Nilesh to sell in the market. Nilesh could not sell it and both
started bickering and cursing each other.
Bablu used a kitchen knife to stab Nilesh on the face inflicting him with serious injuries. Nilesh was taken to a private hospital.
In the stabbing, Bablu also sustained some injuries on his left hand.
He was later brought to Sassoon General Hospital for first aid.
The Cantonment police have registered a case of assault (section 223 and 224 of IPC) and arrested Bablu.
