The Capital has some unwelcome guests. The Delhi police's Special Cell is searching for three suspected terrorists, who are allegedly planning major terror attacks in Delhi. Posters of the suspects have been put up at busy parts of the Capital, including at the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF).

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police is looking for three suspected terrorists, who are believed to be planning a major terror attack on the city.

The police received information about the trio from the Intelligence Bureau. The Special Cell has launched a massive operation to nab the trio believed to be hailing from Pampore district.

Sources said there were inputs that the trio - identified as Bilal Ahmed Bagh, Ibrahim Sheikh and Shahjahan - were spotted in a busy locality in the Capital, following which police have stepped up their efforts.
"Posters have been put up at places like Pragati Maidan, where a large number of people are converging for the IITF," said a senior police officer on the condition of anonymity.

Last week, the Special Cell had apprehended Abdullah Inquilabi, a self-styled divisional commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, from south Delhi's IIT area. He is believed to have come to Delhi to find a hide-out. Inquilabi hails from Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
"The Hizb militant had stayed in two-three places in the Capital before he was arrested. We want to check whether these people are anyway linked to Inquilabi," an officer said.
