Mihir says he set it up after fans of his radio shows suggested that he bring his show back. "I realised nobody has the time to go through the net for videos of their favourite artistes so instead of just tracks there are YouTube links and I have a script that reads just like my radio show. The only difference is that I'm not speaking on this show," says Mihir. The MJ show hosts an average of 15 shows a month. "I try to keep it as interactive as possible and even take requests from Twitter," says Mihir, who's the frontman and lead vocalist of Mumbai-based rock band The Works. Two of the other highlights of his show include celebrity guest CD shows compiled based on the celebrity's favourites, and contests with CD giveaways and tickets to shows. "I've had everybody from Ehsaan Noorani to Gul Panag on the show, and everybody's been so supportive. I try to keep it close to the music even if the celeb is from a non-music background. Labels are being extremely supportive too." The shows aren't limited to a specific genre -- you'll find pop, rock, country and jazz here.

The show, which lists about 48 followers on the site, reaches out to anywhere between 10,000-15,000 people, claims Mihir, through his social networking groups. "The good thing is that all the videos and music I use on the site are already available and licensed, so there are no copyright issues really," he says. So if you're bored stiff with the rut on mainstream channels and feel too lazy to surf when you want to pop a classic, the MJ show just might be the answer.
