Mumbai in the 1970s was a different time. That's the immediate impression one gets looking at acclaimed photographer Pablo Bartholomew's works.
The photographer's works are from a time when he roamed the streets of Mumbai as a young, carefree teenager.

Bartholomew's interest in photography goes back to a very young age, when he was around eight years old. He soon realised that photography was his passion and decided to take itu00a0 up full time.
He adds that his work underwent a change when he took up journalism, with Bartholomew moving from the world of black and white to colour.
In 2005, he went back to the photographs he had taken as a youngster and decided it was time for the world to see them.
His previous exhibition titled 'Outside In - A tale of 3 cities' also displayed photographs of the same period between the 1970s and '80s, but those were photographs from his inner world of family and friends.
"The Chronicles is a manifestation of my outer world, of my associations with the city and its people, known and unknown," he summarises.
The photographer believes that the exhibition is his way of paying his homage to the city and its people.
