Washington: White House press secretary Josh Earnest revealed President Barack Obama to be a huge fan of LeBron James. During a recent press briefing, Earnest said that though the US President didn’t tell him anything personally, he knows that Obama considered the NBA superstar to be a ‘fine young man’.

He added that Obama, 52, had personally met the champ a few times, and had even made an appeal for him to join the President’s beloved Chicago Bulls when James was a free agent back in 2010.
The 29-year-old basketball star, who had claimed two NBA championships with the Miami Heat, recently announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers team in a Sports Illustrated article.—Agencies
