This sequel to the 2007 game of the year PORTAL, released by Valve, is a nice blend of both, good innovation in terms of gameplay and stunning graphics.

It's a puzzle-based adventure game set in the future, in the aftermath of Portal, after you have destroyed G.L.A.D.O.S, the psychopathic robot bent on destroying you.

The gameplay is smooth coupled with easy-to-understand tutorials for the newcomer. Each room in Aperture Laboratories, the fictional research corporation responsible for the creation of the portal gun, is a 3D maze that you have to navigate in order to use the portal gun and a clutch of other gadgets to make it to an inconveniently placed exit.

And while you are at it, a portal gun is a tool that lets you cross vast distances instantaneously by blowing holes through the time-space continuum. How I wish I had this to travel to work every day.

The best part about the game is Cross Platform Play and Chat, a feature I haven't seen before. Gamers playing the PC version of the game can now also play with others who are playing the game on PS3. Add custom levels to that, and you always have something new to play.

To sum up it up, this game is a masterpiece that's great for people who like their mind ticking.
And yes, where else can you break the laws of Physics?

Quick Take
Graphics: Good
Overall gameplay: Good
Worth it? Yes
Final rating: 4 out of 5
