Bramhjot Singh (24), an engineering student, says he created the Deadly Stunt Maniacs (DSM) to give bikersu00a0 an opportunity to meet, share notes and perform stunts that take the breath away.

The 150-odd members in the group are 13 to 36 years of age. "While DSM is mainly about having fun, we ensure that other citizens are not inconvenienced when our group meets. We hold our meeting in distant locales like Lonavla, Mulshi, Solapur and Mahabaleshwar. The club is also committed to activities like garbage picking, tree planting and snake catching," said Singh.

"Recently we had a 15-day trip to Nanded. Thirty-four people in about 20 bikes enjoyed the long ride. On the way, we visited many places of interest like Ajanta and Ellora. It was one freaking fun ride," Singh added.

There is no fixed meeting time for the group. Together, they practice stunts like wheelie, stoppie, circle stoppie, donuts, burnouts, rolling burnouts, high chair, high chair wheelie and no hand stoppie.

Greg Rogers (18), a FY BBA student of Wadia College and keen biker, said, "I have been with this club for two years now. I always had a passion for biking and have been riding since I was 15. I just saw them practising one day and joined them. It's a very good experience with the club. I have been practising
everyday."

Another student from MIT, Satej Goel (20) said, "This is an amazing group. You have masti, masti and more masti, but with a sense of responsibility. I have not completely learnt the stunts, but I will in some time."

All you need to be a member is a bike, a helmet and a jacket along with a desire to help with some social work. For details, call 98814 60488
