Addressing a 'Viraj Hindu Sammelan' (Hindu convention) at the Reshimbagh ground here Sunday evening, Bhagwat said this (division of Ramjanmabhoomi) cannot be an option while reiterating the commitment to build the Ram temple in Ayodhya. "India can be united and unanimous if the Ram temple is built at same place," Bhagwat said, adding, if a huge Ram temple is built it will create an environment of unity in the country.
The division of Ramjanmabhoomi will also divide the society, he said. Without taking any names, Bhagwat said some parties are trying to attract Muslim votes.
"They are pointing fingers at RSS which is serving the cause of Hindus in the country since last 85 years selflessly," he said. "One round of battle for Ram temple is already over and Lord Rama has given us a quite break for relaxation. Now we should resume our fight for the cause. The High Court decision has given us strength as a first step," Bhagwat said.
