That's what Sandalwood stars are saying after watching her idiot box engagement... MiD DAY takes a peek into their hearts

IF you've been turning up your nose at Rakhi Sawant's antics over the last few weeks, you have company in Sandalwood's leading ladies.

While the show did garner enough TRPs to keep NDTV Imagine on the lead, Rakhi's image, industry sources say, has gone to the dogs.

So, was the Swayamvar good programming? And would our leading ladies have stepped into the item-queen's famed shoes? Here's what they said:

A PRIVATE AFFAIR
I watched the whole programme and I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. But at the end of the day, marriage for me, Swayamvar or not, is a private affair. I wouldn't want the whole world watching.

IT'S SUPER PUBLICITY, BUT NO
I watched the programme religiously and did I find it funny or what! I'm sure the publicity was amazing too. The TRPs were rocking and the programme soon had a loyal fan following. But for me, I'd never do such a show even if an international channel offered it to me.u00a0 It's super publicity but no!

DON'T COMPARE ME WITH RAKHI
I did watch bits and pieces of the programme that the news channels seemed to be airing all day, and I must say I was convinced it was pretty entertaining. I, however, wouldn't like to be a part of any such programme and please don't compare me with Rakhi Sawant!

NOT MY KIND OF THING
Of course, it is entertaining. Weddings always are. But somehow, I don't think I'd ever want to be in her shoes. It's just not my kind of thing!
