Actress Ranjitha, who was seen in tapes of alleged sex romp with Swami Nithyananda will now write an autobiography. After her recent public appearance, Ranjitha has decided to pen down details of her traumatic experience as earlier reported by other media.
The autobiography will talk about details of her relationship with him, which according to her is spiritual, and the sexual harassment she suffered by one of the swami's erstwhile disciples including Lenin Karuppan alias Nitya Dharmananda.
Nithyananda was arrested based on Lenin's complaint last year. The charges included rape, unnatural sex, and hurting religious sentiments. "Until this unpleasant development, life was a sort of cakewalk for me," said Ranjitha. "But the incident put me into a fighting mode, and the experience changed my perspective and I thought I would write about myself."
Avid reader
She said she was an avid reader and writing comes naturally to her. " She has studied literature apart from reading religious books," said Gajendra Naidu, her lawyer. The book, in English, will have different chapters including her infant life, acting career, and the spiritual experience at the swami's ashram. The most sensitive and explosive part would be the political game behind the development, while she is also intending to expose Christian missionaries, who played a big role.
"It is so sensitive that I am facing a life threat. If the Tamil Nadu chief minister assures me of security, I can reveal right away who did the mischief and why," she added. However, she said that she was taking a big risk in writing, and would face the consequences.
Her story will depict how Lenin developed an interest in her because he was jealous over her closeness with the swami. He used to beg for her love and he even tried to rape her. Later, Lenin started blackmailing her by showing some morphed visuals of her and the swami on his laptop and demanded money. When she refused to do so, he went to the media.
Juhi at ashram
Ranjitha, who took part in Nithyananda's birthday celebrations, on Saturday, was in the ashram the entire day. She performed paada pooja (feet wash) to the swami. Another film star, who performed the pooja to swami Nithyananda, was Juhi Chawla. "No other actors visited the swami save for Ranjitha and Juhi, "said a source in the ashram. The celebrations were strictly under wraps and no media was allowed inside.
