The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed a part of telecom tribunal TDSAT's judgment that directed the Department of Telecommunication to withdraw the allocation of additional spectrum given to state-run BSNL.

A bench headed by Justice Tarun Chatterjee passed the order on a petition filed by BSNL challenging the TDSAT judgment that directed the DoT to withdraw additional spectrum from the telecom firm.

BSNL has challenged the part of the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal judgment that asked the DoT to withdraw the additional spectrum held by the PSU.
