Shiv Sena on Thursday asked Maharashtra Governor to look into the alleged scam of Rs 6,000 crore in various development schemes implemented by the Tribal Development department for last three years.
The scam has come to light following a petition filed before the High Court, Shiv Sena leaders have claimed.

They alleged corruption in the purchase of various items like uniforms, slates, mats, blankets, nutritious food, liquid protein, and other items for Ashram Shalas in the state.
A delegation of Shiv Sena legislators led by senior leader and MLC Diwakar Raote today met the Governor K Sankaranarayanan at Raj Bhavan here. The delegation also informed the Governor that a report presented by a committee appointed by the Supreme Court has found that the food supplied to the Anganwadi children is of inferior quality.
The report mentions financial irregularities to the tune of 1,000 crore, they said.
The delegation requested the Governor to look into the matter and take appropriate action in this regard. The Governor also assured the delegation that he will take up these issues with the state government.
