Bollywood stars graced the charity show organised by Pune Grahmin Police to raise funds to build hostels for the constabulary

It was a musical show for a noble cause. The Pune Grahmin Police had organised a charity show on last evening at their headquarters at Pashan to raise funds for the hostels they are planning to build.
These hostels are for the children of the constables who work with the grahmin Police. The hostel will be used by the children who come to Pune for higher studies.
The event was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, who mentioned that he never fails to miss any cultural event organised by the police department. Also present at the show were singers Vaishali Samant, Altaf Raja, television actress Ashwini Ekbote and child singer Kumari Kartiki Gaikwad.
The evening was not short of music and dance. It had power-packed performance by Ekbote and song performances by the singers of Shehensha Orchestra who enthralled around 300 guests.
Apart from them, several higher authorities from the department were present to lend their support. IG of Kolhapur Ashok Dhivare, SP Pratap Dhigaonkar, Additional SP Pokale and many others marked their presence at the event.
