Victim sustained severe head injuries and died at a local hospital
A speeding car snuffed the life out of a 47-year-old constable of Noida police who was crossing a road in Noida Phase-II area.
"The deceased, constable Krishan Pal Singh was on duty. He had to go to Nangla and was crossing the road, when a fast speeding vehicle, reportedly a white Santro, crushed him. He sustained grievous injuries to his head and was rushed to Prayas Hospital where he died while receiving treatment," said Deepak Sharma a sub-inspector posted with Noida Phase-II police station.
The police officer said that Singh was a native of Baghpat and is survived by his wife and two children.
