In addition, to the three cases, nineteen others have been put on the ventilator.
According to Deputy Director of Health Services in Pune, "Ashok Venkatswamy Reddy (41) from Aadarsh Nagar in Pimple Gurav, Vinod Shivaji Gavade (23) from Indapur and Bharati Suresh Fargade (40) of Daund have been reported dead because of swine flu on Wednesday."
"The three had been shifted to the isolation ward three days ago. The swabs of all three were tested positive for the H1N1 virus," added doctors.
With the reports of these deaths, the swine flu toll in Pune has now increased to 93 deaths in four months. The death toll has now risen to 304 since the outbreak of the deadly disease.
