Mist offers a buffet which has popular dishes along with special festival ones
The new Middle Eastern food trail at Mist, the 24-hour dining restaurant at The Park, is the perfect example of being in the right place at the right time.

Winter usually translates into lunching out more than dining out, so it helps greatly if the food is sumptuous but not heavy. It is already hard enough to work during the only three beautiful months in Delhi, let alone resisting the urge to curl up and nap.
Thus, light, fluffy pita bread and crunchy lavash from a wood fired oven eaten with Hummus, Labneh (soft cram cheese made from yoghurt with olive oil), and Babaghanoush (roast aubergine pate, prepared in this kitchen by beating the aubergine with hand and not processing it in the mixer) is just the perfect way to begin a winter lunch. The Cerkez Tavugu (Turkish chicken salad with walnut sauce) salad also couples well with the breads but the Shrimps with Garlic and Sumac should be eaten just like that.
Mist offers the buffet, which has other popular dishes along with the special festival ones -- and there is the convenient option of an a la carte menu for add-on dishes. We suggest if you want the authentic experience, you stick to the a la carte but if you are really hungry, which you probably will be, then opt for the buffet. Whatever your choice, you must eat the Kibbeh, minced lamb and broken wheat patties.
These are a step-up from the common shammi kebabs and are meatier. Though we have already recommended a shrimp dish earlier, if you prefer your seafood warm, then skip that and try Sarimsakli Karides (garlic flavoured prawns served with chilli aioli).
What you must, must have is the Murag Zaffran (Okra and meat stew with Iraqi saffron rice). We were surprised that we loved the stew even though it was made with only tomatoes. The saffron rice, which also has mince, is a must-have if just for the break it offers from the usual pulao and biryani. There are live Doner Kebabs and vegetarian options too like Mihshee Malfoof Bi Burghul (Syrian cabbage rolls) and Sigara Boergi (Phyllo sheet and feta cigars with cheese dips).
Though we have pointed out the importance of a light meal, it would be foolish to not have the excellent Baklava and Klaicha (date cookies with rose petal ice-cream). And then, if you feel sleepy, which you will, wake yourself up with some steaming Turkish coffee.
