More Chai, Less Chai Paani: www.Jaagore.com

How bad does your government have to be when the biggest incentive to vote in an election year comes from a chai company? As Indians we trust Tata Tea over Congress Party. Proof of that comes from Tata's jaago re site that put on the nappies of democracy and ushered in 6 lakh new voters into the smelly world of politics.
That's 6 lakh more voters than Congress's lame Jai Ho ads. Trust politics to ruin an Oscar winning track with partisan lyrics.u00a0
I clicked my mouse 3 times in lieu of an online hip-hip-hurrah for the easy to use methods on the site. The same chai that Tata fed to people in their ads is spat on every political party presence online.

At the end of it, maybe I don't even drink Tata Tea, but if this election I see a party with tea leaves as their slogan I'm voting it into power. That would be refreshing.

Trust the BJP (bjp.org) and the Congress (aicc.org.in) to make the WWW filthier, by finding ways to fling digital feces at each other. So while the Congress website has an entire section called, "Exposing The Truth", that counters every BJP allegation against them; the BJP's entire website smells of Eau De Anti-Congress Cologne.

Both half-heartedly flirt with issues on infrastructure, terrorism and the aam aadmi (that guy gets a lot of publicity), but we know the main course is a 7-course meal of mud pie.
And, when the big parties fail the small ones conquer. The most intriguing site thus, belongs to the most intriguing Raj Thackeray (manase.org). Love him or loathe him, this site aims to 'understand' him with a section devoted to, "Understanding the Misunderstandings", understood?
Please do understand that the MNS has the most interesting political site. Don't miss Raj's often hilarious cartoons that include a morose Bachchan, Advani sketched like a Pandava warrior, and a thin lipped almost witchy Sonia. The artist's sketch pen is definitely mightier than the mob's lathi and far less hurtful?u00a0

The Election Commission (eci.nic.in) are the Match Referees of the 2009 Elections, but what if the Match Referee itself requires refereeing? Did someone hear Varun's ears pop up?
The EC's website requires a third umpire its design is in sync with Congress's aam aadmi modus by being really aam (and far less tasty). What should be THE site to track the elections, looks like it was designed by a Chinese hacker during his tea break. It thus loses this title to votereport.in. A fine site tracks the elections along with violence, forgeries and bribes with an updated Indian map of the elections. Hopefully a GPS map that drives the Indian voter safely away from the city of Hunghouseghar to the town of Ekpartywingadh.
