"The driver agreed to drop me home for Rs 20," Mahapatra told the police, adding that he had had a bottle of beer before heading home.
"They took my laptop, my wallet containing an ATM card, driving licence and Rs 21,000 in cash," Mahapatra told the police. "They even took the shaving set, deodorants and toilet soap that I bought from the mall before getting into the autorickshaw," he added. They didn't spare his shoes either.
