Batting first, Payyade were bowled out for 89 with Delhi Daredevils seamer Avishkar Salvi claiming four for 36 for SPY.
Salvi was well supported by Shardur Thakur and Javed Khan who bagged three wickets apiece.
With just 89 runs to chase, it seemed easy for the SPY batsmen but they encountered some sharp Payyade bowling. An exceptional spell of 4 for 13 from Santosh Saxena and 3 for 28 from Musavir Khote nearly got Payyade victory but the game ended at 83 for 9.u00a0
