Police have arrested two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants and recovered ammunition from their possession in Doda district.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested two LeT militants, Sajjad Ahmed and Sohaib Ahmed, from outskirts of the district, about 175 km from here, Wednesday, officials said on Thursday.

The duo was directly linked to Pakistani militants Ans and Maag (code names) of the militant outfit, they said. Police have recovered a hand grenade and 12 rounds of AK rifle from their possession.

They said there was a possibility that last week's grenade attack on a CRPF bunker in Kishtwar town was executed by Sajjad.
