Andhra Pradesh government announces formation of Special Investigation Teams to probe twin blasts, even as Bihar cops arrest two foreign nationals on suspicion they may be linked to the blast
Even as the AP government announced the appointment of Special Investigation Teams to crack the twin blasts case, hundreds of miles away, the Bihar police arrested two foreign nationals in East Champaran district of north Bihar yesterday, when they were allegedly trying to sneak into Nepal from the Indian side of the international border.

But while the local cops said they could be linked to the Hyderabad blasts, an ADG of Bihar Police said one of them was a Somalian national who had strayed into India by mistake. "They are definitely suspects. But it is yet to be established definitively whether they are linked to the Hyderabad blasts", he said, adding the two were not carrying valid visas.
Meanwhile, as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrives in Hyderabad today, the AP government has appointed 15 Special Investigation Teams to probe the blasts. Each team will have 10 to 15 persoonel from different wings.“We have already gathered vital clues through SIT in the case. We should we be able to crack the case soon,” state home minister P Sabita Indra Reddy said after a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat.
Meanwhile 3,500 closed circuit cameras have also been installed in the city to tighten security measures in and around the city.
