Two young men, with their throats slit, were found dead in a Maruti van in BDA Layout at 2am this morning.
One of the victims, identified as Naveen, is said to be from Channapatna while the other has not yet been identified.



Assistant commissioner of police, H T Ramesh and police inspector Ramaiyya from the Subramanyapura police station, made priliminary investigations at the spot. They found a knife, Naveen's driving license and a mobile phone at the spot. They suspect a gangwar behind the twin murder.u00a0u00a0u00a0

"The white maruti van with a yellow number plate, (usually the kinds hired cars have) was originally registered in Indiranagar but later transferred to Sagar," said ACP Ramesh.

The bodies were taken away to KIMS hospital for post mortem.
