Just two days after a series of six murders shook the capital, two more killings within a gap of 12 hours were reported here, police said Thursday.
A 23-year-old woman and a businessman, in his 30s, were killed in two separate incidents reported Thursday afternoon and Wednesday night. On Tuesday, six murders were reported.

Mumtaz, 23, was Thursday stabbed to death by her two brothers-in-law and father-in-law over the issue of fetching water in west Delhi's Bharat Nagar, police said.
Her father-in-law Roshan Lal and brothers-in-law Bobby and Babloo were arrested.
In the other incident, businessman Hari Raj was killed by one of his neighbours, who forcibly entered his house around 11.30 p.m. Wednesday in west Delhi's Bindapur area along with his more than one dozen armed associates.
Two of the accused - Sanjeev, a neighbour of the deceased, and Pritam - have been arrested.
According to victim's father Jai Narayan, Sanjeev along with his father Raj Kishore and more than one dozen people, including his friends Rajkumar, Pritam, Jimmi, Naveen, Arvind, Amarjeet, entered their house and killed his son and beat him up and his daughter-in-law.
"Three days ago, Sanjeev and the victim indulged in an argument over selling of plots and Sanjeev threatened him of dire consequences," said a police officer.u00a0
