The US on Saturday issued a fresh advisory asking its citizens to take precautions in view of possible imminent terror attacks in crowded markets in the capital.

The US on Saturday issued a fresh advisory asking its citizens to take precautions in view of possible imminent terror attacks in crowded markets in the capital.

This is the third American advisory in a month. It advises Americans travelling or residing in India to maintain "a high level of vigilance" and watch out for unattended packages.

The US embassy said that terrorists had in the past targeted market places in New Delhi also frequented by US citizens or Westerners.
