Writing is her passion and setting records through them a habit.
Meet Chitra Lele, whose life has been on the fast-track ever since she launched her latest book 'The 6 Spheres of Life: Unlocking the Door to Success and Happiness' in February 2010. "My book was launched in Pune and then in Delhi. After that I was also able to launch it at the Dubai Book Fair," she said.
After the February launch, she found her way into the Limca Book of Records for receiving maximum letters of commendations from more than 73 world leaders and organisations. She received letters from the Indian president, mayor of Bolton and even Queen Elizabeth.
She found a mention a second time in the Limca Book of Records for being the first Indian to receive the Peace Maker award from the Peace Writers Organisation in USA.
She achieved a hat-trick, when the India Book of Records, registered her earlier feats as a record.
"I try to help people find their purpose in life, through my writings," she said.
Her love for writing can be traced back to her college years.
She had conducted a seminar on 'Personal Transformation'. "I met a lot of people, who had more then 25 years of experience, but were not satisfied with their jobs. This got me thinking and I started maintaining a diary to put down my thoughts," she explains. Her parents then encouraged her to get them published, and she went ahead.
Chitra is in her 20s, and is already a young management professional, a peace ambassador and a record-setting author. She has a master's degree in software engineering from BITS Pilani. Though Chitra has largely studied in the city, her schooling years were spent abroad.
Chitra is the peace ambassador of World Peace Organisation in USA. Her motto in life is: 'Peace within, peace within others and peace within the world', which is amply reflected in her latest book.
