Vikram Hospital launched 'Health One', a healthcare card that offers patients substantial concessions on outpatient spend, which normally is not covered by insurance or reimbursed by employers.
Hospital Director and Strategist Kannan Ramesh said that CT or MRI scans during 'Happy Hours', which is between 8 pm and 7 am, comes with a concessions up to 35 per cent. The card will offer non-invasive CT coronary angiogram at Rs 4,999 along with a 40 per cent discount on medical advice on the first consultation with a specialist, post the scan.
u00a0Similarly, a CT and MRI done on Sundays will cost Rs 5,000. The card can be gifted and offers additional benefits to senior citizens. Ramesh said, 'The Joy of Giving' entitles the beneficiary to substantial concessions on both, out patient and in patient bills.
The hospital also launched 'Gift Health 108', bringing 108 ways to gift health.
"The cards are broadly classified under five categories ufffd standard profile, age, ailment, organ and convenience ufffd all of which are carefully designed by a panel of doctors and planners from the hospital," Ramesh said.
