Trupti Desai was in the news for her campaign to gain entry into the Shani Shingnapur temple's inner sanctum.

The incident took place on Nagar road on Wednesday when Desai beat up the youth with her sandal amid high drama.

The youth has been identified as Shrikant Londhe who was in a relationship with a girl with a for several months.
