If you are in a dilemma over where to buy chic Western clothes in large sizes without burning a hole in your purse, head to Tick at Moledina Road. What makes this store unique is the range of apparel that are hand-picked from different regions of Asia, including China, Bangkok and even Russia. Come with lots of time in your hand as you may have to sift through some average clothes to find a gem.u00a0

Ambience: Though the store is small in size, it is quite colourful. The walls are done up in white, orange and black. Both sides of the walls are lined with wooden cabinets that display the clothes. Being clutter-free, there is ample space to go through different sections and you can try out the funky clothes in the trial room.

Range: They sell formal and informal western wear for women including tank tops, capris, dresses, tops, kurtis, skirts, tunics and party-wear.

We liked: The formal checked capris are comfortable and look classy. They are also available in lighter shades.

Some of the short harem pants looked attractive and were priced reasonably. The satin one-piece party dresses with frills are perfect for a night out. You can opt for single or multi-shaded ones, which are available in different styles, such as off-shoulder and V-shaped. Don't miss their vibrant printed tunics and summer dresses.
Some of the kurtis were pretty and we liked the trendy long tops. They also have limited editions of formal shirts. The skirts were unimpressive but cheap. Stay away from the tank tops as they offer nothing new. While some of them had jazzy designs, you can buy them for far less at any local store.
