What happens when the pot-smoking, Levi's jeans-wearing and rock-n-rolling Woodstock era plays muse to a suburban cafe? Naturally, patrons find themselves sitting on retro furniture pieces like plastic scoop chairs in bold maroons, oranges and lime greens, plush white leather sofas set against faux fur walls, and a melange of disco balls and other retro-chic light fittings suspended from a ceiling bearing psychedelic concentric detailings in orange. Together with a backlit polka-dotted bar and a comic strip slapped L-shaped wall, the space is reminiscent of an Austin Powers: Goldmember set.

Bagels for breakfast, molecular cheesecake for dessert: The menu which bears a vintage vinyl record on its cover, wedges in retro fonts, symbols and icons, and an extensive variety of food and beverages minimum flip-through time: 15 minutes.
The group next to us needed a smoke break before they decided on what they had to order! Mocha Mojo a new variant of the Mocha family of restaurateurs has introduced an all-new all-day breakfast menu of bagels, omelettes, coffees, smoothies, fruit bowls and teas that provide at least five variants, if not more under each category.
Raw Food Revolution is a new creation at Mocha, and sees healthy, uncooked recipes of pastas and lasgnes with an aim to preserve nutrients. We tried the Raw Garden Lasgne (Rs 195); "pasta sheets" weren't prepared with maida but with zucchini, cucumber and tomatoes, and served with almond cheese, cashew aiolo and pesto.
It was obviously cold, but not tasteless. We squealed when we found a special Maggi section on the menu. To make things frisky, we opted for the Maggi in Burmese Yellow Curry, that came for an obnoxiousu00a0 Rs 125. Oddly, the predominant taste of the noodles was the Maggi masala with a slight hint of Burmese curry. Mixed with paneer, mushrooms and other veggies this was a rather filling meal.
New varieties of Paninis have been added to their old selection, and a section dedicated to flavoured Hot Chocolate makes space next to an overwhelming selection of "Shakes". The Lindt Chocolate Shake (Rs 210) is still divine. We wondered what the Hot Chocolate Soup would be like, but couldn't brave it after the intoxicating meal that we had just devoured.

The Deconstructed Philadelphia Cheesecake (Rs 250) caught our eye for its intergalactic appeal: the cheesecake of the future with fruit caviar, sulfrino of melons and meyer lemon fluid gel. It's molecular. It's spectacular.
A recipe that uses scientific formal discipline in its cooking, or molecular gastronomy, the cheesecake came topped with molecular fruit dots and oozed with a tangy fruit-flavoured paste. The crumbly crust was placed next to the cheesecake separately, along with melon dots and a spray of lemon gel.
What else? Each dish on the menu is listed with the number of calories it contains. The new menu sees a good balance of healthy, light options and the decadent Mocha classics like Poutine and Chocolate Avalanche. Mocha Mojo also serves a variety of beers and Sangria throughout the day. Though it can put a hole in your pocket, we liked how the menu appeals to various meal options through the day.
