Three drunk youth from Mahatma Phule Peth allegedly attacked a 41-year-old woman on Monday night over a petty dispute about unnecessary usage of electricity.

Three drunk youth from Mahatma Phule Peth allegedly attacked a 41-year-old woman on Monday night over a petty dispute about unnecessary usage of electricity.u00a0

u00a0Anuradha Prakash Pawar (41), was immediately shifted to Sasoon Hospital around 10.30 pm by her son Shekhar.

She has received serious injuries on her head, said doctors at the hospital.u00a0

u00a0Shekhar has filed a complaint at Khadak police station against the three youth. The three youths named in the complaint as suspects are Sujit Mishra, Manish Sudri and Amit Pawar.

u00a0Shekhar said, "Mishra, Sudri and Amit Pawar, the three tenants had swords with them. They attacked my mother Anuradha and father Prakash, after they had a fight over the usage of electricity."

u00a0"The three tried to hit my father however they missed and my mother got hurt. She was unconscious for almost 15 minutes after being attacked," Shekhar added.

u00a0"The three were staying at our house as tenants for a few years. They have been charged in various crimes in the Mahatma Phule Peth area," Shekhar added.
