Does 'Ghost Rider' exist?
Motorists in Australia, caught for speeding up to 180km/h on a road north of Newcastle, have revealed that the reason they do it is to conjure the ghost of a motorcyclist who died there.

A handful of videos have been posted online, allegedly showing a ghostly bright light appearing in the rear windscreen of cars that start driving at dangerous speeds along a stretch of Lemon Tree Passage Rd.

And some locals are convinced the light is the spirit of a 20-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash with a speeding driver in the area three years ago, and that it is in pursuit of people who drive dangerously.

Port Stephens police are so concerned about youngsters speeding to summon the ghost that they have issued a warning to drivers.

“It’s alleged that if you drive at speed in a manner dangerous, a bright white light comes in behind you and that’s what they are calling the Lemon Tree Passage ghost,” a newspaper quoted a police spokeswoman as saying.

“There have been several phone calls that people are going out there and while attempting to get footage from online sources these cars are travelling at excessive speed.

“We want speeding drivers to know that the only bright light they’ll be seeing in their rear windows will be the red and blue lights of a police car,” she added.

The online videos posted so far do show a bright light clearly visible, sometimes close to the car and other times in the far distance, but its source is unclear.

Female ghost in Malaysian police lock-up giving cops nightmares
Malaysian cops have reported that a ghostly apparition of a woman with long hair in a white dress has been haunting their police lock-up.

According to the Harian Metro, the ghost has apparently been disturbing officers on night duty at the Betong district police headquarters about 150km from Kuching, and it has also been seen around the police station.

“Its face is similar to an officer here. When it is given instructions, it would only keep quiet,” the Star Online quoted a source as saying.

Such incidents have been happening ever since the police headquarters shifted to the current location in April.

The police sought the services of an ustaz to get rid of the ghost, and it was found the spirit of the woman was not in peace.

“We were told that the woman, when she was alive, was a rape victim and was murdered here,” the police said.

Betong OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Bukhori Saffai said the ghost had disturbed three policemen over the past month, with the latest incident taking place just last week.u00a0
