According to Xie He Hospital in Wuhan, Hubei Province, more than 90 percent of the people born with this rare condition die at birth or soon afterwards.
His parents were informed during the time of birth that their son might not make it, but to their surprise he made it through school and eventually even found a job as a barber.
Zhiliang recently came across news reports about Huang Rongming, a man having a similar condition as him and the doctors at Wuhan Union Hospital had successfully moved the heart to his chest in April 2012.
Zhiliang reportedly has quit his job and decided to undergo the same surgery at Wuhan, where the doctors are currently working on a surgery plan.u00a0
