Brazilian cops are on the look out for a man dressed as Santa Claus, who flew away with the chopper after tying up the pilot

Saq Paulo: The Brazilian Police have launched a peculiar manhunt after a man clad in a red and white Santa Claus outfit took off with a chopper.

The fugitive rented the aircraft on Friday from an air-taxi service at the Campo Marte airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He told the pilot that he wished to participate in the Black Friday celebrations. However, his cunning plot came to fore when the plane was airborne.
The accused directed the pilot to fly to a small farm outside the city. The hostage pilot complied with the orders. Upon reaching the instructed destination, a third man arrived, and he and the Santa Claus impersonator tied up the pilot. The duo got back in the helicopter and flew off.
The pilot, however, managed to escape after a few hours and alerted the police, who immediately a manhunt for the fugitives. So far, no signs of the copter — a Robinson model 44 — have been found.
