Screengrabs from the videos
If there is one thing the year 2020 has taught us it’s that one must be ready to face challenges in life without any prior hint. This year, most of us were faced with one of the most difficult times in our lives so far. But even amid adversities there were people who tried to make the year tolerable with their talent.

Artists from various genres came forward to make some unique pieces of art which probably wouldn’t have got as much attention in normal times. Apart from that, 2020 was also a year which saw some major cultural and socio-political movements and we were introduced to the other side of our society which usually remains elusive from the internet. Several footages from the anti-CAA and farmer’s protest found their way to the internet and were circulated widely.
Furthermore, 2020 also showed us that while netizens can be harsh sometimes, they can also shower people with love and support. Case in point; the ‘Baba ka Dhaba’ couple.
Not to mention, the light hearted content brought the entire country together in laughter and mirth in between a health and economic crisis. From Yashraj Mukhate’s catchy tunes or Eshna Kutty’s groovy moves, this year, we were blown away by the talent we have in this country and also regretted not stumbling on to them before. However, at the end of the day, all we feel is gratitude for being a part of this online feast.
So, to wrap up the year, we have brought you 12 viral videos that in their own way defined the year 2020.
